DeepArt is an artistic painting tool that allows everyone to create and share artistic pictures with just a few clicks. All you need to do is upload a photo and choose your favorite style or upload your own, which is what we love. Their servers will then render your artwork for you.
They apply an algorithm developed by Leon Gatys, Alexander Ecker and Matthias Bethge.
Easy to play with, expensive to buy.
By play with, I mean the quickly attained, low-res, watermarked version. If you really want to create a work of art, be prepared to shed some pounds. As in dollars, if your from the U.S. The cost of a Ultra-High, 9 million pixel, 3000 x 3000 image is around $99. That's jthe file we would need to print you a beautiful canvas print. Nonetheless, here's how you go about getting to the point where you may want pull the trigger and go all HD. So, create and order the high-res file from them, download and come back here to print.
Grab a few favorite photos
As per other apps, you'll want to gather up a few of your favorite photos. Some artists go for their family or selfies. Others create a theme, say "clowns" and start creating a gallery of similar subjects painted in the same or similar styles. You can order a print directly from the app, but the largest Deepart offers is a 20" x 30" poster with their watermark for about $80. They claim it's an Ultra HD resolution, which sells for 59E that's 3000 x 3000 px. And in the middle, there's a Gallery Print, which is printed on acrylic using the Ultra HD res at 20 x 30 for about $350.
